The Refugee Centre is a Montreal-based nonprofit supporting the integration of newcomers in Canada. As their in-house graphic designer, I helped create a nationwide out-of-home campaign funded by the Elevating Voices Grant and PATTISON Outdoor. The billboards appeared in 10 cities across Canada — on buses, transit shelters, and outdoor displays — raising awareness about refugee inclusion and reducing stigma. The campaign was inspired by digital communication (specifically how people use their phones) to symbolize how newcomers stay connected and supported during resettlement. The goal was to uplift their voices and highlight how their contributions can help shape Canada’s future.
